Several of your favorite artists have been using social media to keep fans entertained as they self-isolate due to the coronavirus.
- Luke Combs performed a livestream concert on Instagram earlier this week, promising he’ll “do one every week we’re quarantined.” Luke’s set included a cover of the Tracy Chapman tune “Fast Car,” as well as the debut of a new song, “What Do You Do When It Rains?” and hits “When it Rains it Pours” and “Hurricane.”
- Lauren Alaina teamed with her dad for a performance of her single “Getting Good."
- Jake Owen hosted a livestream concert and group chat for the first 50 fans who joined him online. He performed "Journey of Your Life,” Merle Haggard’s “Ramblin Fever,” a cover of Luke Combs’ “Even Though I’m Leaving” and more. Click here to check it out. He also hosted another concert tonight on Instagram, featuring 90s country tunes.
- Matchbox Twenty’s Rob Thomas performed a cover of Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over” on Instagram for fans, and then invited other artists like John Mayer, Jason Mraz Chris Daughtrey, Ingrid Michealson, Counting Crows, Alanis Morissette, Cyndi Lauper to follow in his footsteps.
- Diplo has been live streaming DJ sets from his living room all week. “You guys want me to do this every night," he asked the Internet. "Like and subscribe, wash your hands and stay 6 feet away from your friends."
