(New York, NY) -- Billy Idol is working with New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on an anti-idling campaign in New York City. The theme of the campaign is "Billy Never Idles," and it's aimed at reminding New Yorkers that idling has been banned in the city since 1972 and is harmful to the environment. Mayor de Blasio said cutting down on idling would be the equivalent of taking 18-thousands cars off New York City streets everyday.
