According to experts, there's a 1-in-10 chance there will be a collision of satellites over Pittsburgh this evening.. From 24/7 News Source:
(Pittsburgh, PA) -- A close call in the sky is about to happen over Pittsburgh. Two space satellites will barely avoid colliding as they pass within 50-feet of each other. A tracking company says it's unlikely they'll hit, but it has happened. A collision in 2009 created about two-thousand pieces of space debris and much of it remained in orbit seven years later. If the satellites do crash, people on the ground would likely see a bright flash similar to a shooting star.
