Yes fans have been chomping at the bit for new music from the band for some time – so much that we the group began teasing about getting back to work the blogosphere went into overdrive. Now, we already knew that “Heaven & Earth,” their new studio album due out on July 22nd had a lot of promise behind it. But now Yes are putting up a sample to get us ready for the release and upcoming tour. (Including a stop at Carnegie Library Music Hall on July 20th)

The band are previewing “The Game,” the second of eight tracks on “Heaven & Earth,” and for classic Yes fans, we’re betting you’re gonna like what you hear. Why? Not only do we have the lineup – Jon Davison, Chris Squire, Steve How, Geoff Downes and Alan White – to consider. But the band also brought a few old production pals back in the mix.

As for the tour, Yes will spend the summer on a 35-date tour featuring the performance of 1971’s groundbreaking album, “Fragile,” for the first-time ever as well as a repeat performance from last year's tour of 1972's “Close To The Edge.” And yes, as we told you before, getting riled up by the classic tracks will be followed by an encore of the band's greatest hits and music from the new album.
