QUEEN: We Will Rock You Sequel in the Works?

With the Queen musical We Will Rock You set to close on London's West End following its June 1st performance, Brian May says he and the show's writer, Ben Elton, have been workshopping a possible sequel. It has a working title of We Will Rock You Two or The Show Must Go On.

The sessions took place in London, where May says they have been working 24/7 over the past two weeks. He says, "I was very proud of this compact but very powerful team. Onwards!"

We Will Rock You opened in London in 2002 and is the longest-running production in the history of the Dominion Theatre. It has been seen by more than 16 million people in 28 countries -- and ranks among the Top 10 longest-running musicals in West End history. Actor Robert De Niro is one of the show's producers. A touring version is making its way across North America.
