Long Island musicians rebooted a well-known song to try to inspire people during the pandemic.
Long Island musicians, 70 strong, created "We Are The World 2020 - the Quarantine Mix". All of the recordings were done remotely from each artist's home.
The final mix of all the parts is an epic video. A statement with the video notes “Although we can’t be together, Long Island musicians united to create something special. We hope this heals your hearts just a little bit with the power of a song that takes on new meaning today.”
