BACKGROUND:

A concert telethon, this 12-hour live event features 60+ musical acts from Pittsburgh and across the country. Each act will be streamed from their home to the live feed through Facebook Live on the Pittsburgh Hospitality Aid Group. You’ll meet the artists, local hospitality workers and hear from our sponsors and the people making a difference during this crisis.

The event is the brain-child of Right-Turn Clyde Band Member, Clyde Callicott who has a deep passion for the hospitality industry. He credits it for saving his life a decade ago by providing a job and stability during a very uncertain time in his life. It’s the reason he’s gathered his friends in the music community to help the industry he cherishes.

Founder of the PGH Area Service Staff Aide and member of the Right-Turn Clyde band, Clyde Callicott, said, “We are bringing people and families together to help those you serve us each day, the hospitality workers.”

Callicott has set a goal of $20,000 but thinks the donations will surpass that easily. “I know the heart of Pittsburghers and I think they’ll come together to help those who really need it the most right now.”

PGH Area Service Staff Aid has linked up with The Greater Pittsburgh Restaurant Workers Mutual Aid this week to help promote and raise funds for this hospitality workers in need.
