Now it can be told – Carrie Fisher WILL be in “Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi.” Apparently she’d completed her work on the film before her untimely death last December. Right after Carrie passed away, Lucasfilm said they wouldn’t be digitally recreating her performance. But her brother, Todd Fisher, said that he and her daughter, Billie Lourd, gave Disney permission to use the recent footage for the finale with the understanding that no CGI would be used to recreate Princess Leia.
